Theologian and Philosopher

This is a poem from Catherine Lim.
I rather like it and feel that it the analogy cannot be more appropriate.
So here goes....



The philosopher, sneers the theologian
.
Is like a blind man in the dark
.
Who looks for a non-existent dog
.
And hears a non-existent bark.
.
The theologian, says the philosopher
.
Shows even more persistence
.
For he not only finds the dog
.
But argues for its existence.
