Judas' Predecessor

Well.. it suddenly occurred to me that Judas might not be the first "suey kia" who was kena arrowed by his boss to play the bad guy. Perhaps Jesus' Lao Peh actually did the same thing, which was where JC got his inspiration to hatch the "betrayal plot" from.

Now if you read the Holy Book with the impression that God is omnipotent, certain things are puzzling. For example, according to Church doctrine, Satan or Lucifer (in certain beliefs they are one and the same), is like one of the highest order "kah kia" of Yahweh before he stupidly decided to overturn the tables and made Yahweh so pissed off that he threw him to Hell. Now, the question is: given that Satan is now his number one enemy, why not just "hoot" him and blast him to smithereens? Also, notice that in the Book of Job, before poor Job has to kena Murphy's Law in its full un-cut version, Satan and Yahweh were happily there "lim teh" and talking about how to tekan Job and betting how he would react to be slammed with all kinds of misfortune. Now, imagine Lao Lee sit down and talk cock with Jeya... Doesn't fit right? So what on earth is happening?

Now one theory that would explain these mysteries is that Satan is simply speaking like Judas in his own Gospel; an undercover. It could be that Yahweh in His Infinite wisdom realised that without Hell, Heaven would be less attractive. Besides, Hell, with all the fire and instruments of torture would be a good place to "reform" recalcitrant mortals. And what better way to bring out the Grace of God than to invent a place of absolute suffering? This would explain why Yahweh put up with the "boh twa boh soei" condemned angel Satan (just like how Singaporeans slammed the 10 young folks put on the sacrificial altar to Lao Lee), instead of destroying him with a single thought... So, JC wasn't that creative when he came up with the Judas ploy. He was merely following the the great tradition of his Father.
