Why the Rich Pays Less Taxes

In America, it is plain for all to see that the Bush family and some key members of the Administration are linked to the big businesses and rich men of America. Is it therefore any surprisng that Bush's tax cuts benefit mainly the rich and big corporations of America?

In Singapore where MPs and politicians draw the highest ministerial salaries in the world and the gene pool for politicians are usually drawn from high earning professions like doctors, lawyers, top senior civil servants and senior executives of GLCs and MNCs, would it be unreasonable to assume that the friends of these people would hail from similar high class and rich background? You don't screw someone who you play golf with every weekend, so I suppose this is why when you want to raise money for the poor, it is easier to squeeze that from other poor and not-so poor people than to squeeze that from your golfing buddies. This is why the rich pays less taxes.
