Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

The single best demonstration of the validity of the above saying is this article on thursday's "Today" which reported that in UK, a 24 year old woman ripped off one testicle from a former lover with her bare hands after he refused to have sex with her. The typical reaction of people I showed the article to was somewhat like this: 'ouch' and then 'with her bare hands??'

Mr. Brown in his regular column in Friday's "Today" reported the same reaction. I liked his wife's reaction even better which went something like "eh, how did she take one out, isn't it eh... supposed to come in a bag? "

Anyway, what is the moral of the story? If some stupid woman decided to offer you sex F.O.C, well.. take it! It is better than ending up losing one ball. Unless, like my colleague pointed out, she is THAT ugly, so that having sex with her would result in you suffering from psychological trauma or worse having permanent erectile dysfunction or something. That then would be a dilemma. But then, if there is anything that my training in economics have taught me, it is that life is all about choices and trade-offs. Who says life is easy anyway eh?

Let us all have a minute of silence to mourn for the nameless guy who is left with only one ball (it was reported that the woman tried to hide it in her mouth and that surgeons failed to re-attach it for him) and also to burn the following Chinese saying onto our mind that "Rather offend a wicked man than to cross a woman".
